Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Award Training

There's going to be a bit of tent life for me over the next few weeks, as I'm supervising and assessing various Duke of Edinburgh's Award groups. This mornings team set off in dire conditions, but thankfully, things brightened up by the time we needed to get the tents up and make home for the night.

In fact the evening suddenly turned the place beautiful!

As I was cooking up some dinner, I watched a few of my friends paddle past on the river, which runs right by the campsite and which looked fantastic. The rain had put the water levels up, but then the evening sunshine came out for a rather alpine feel.

Fingers crossed that it stays dry for the rest of the expeditions!...
