We had a really good start to the day here. The skies turned all sorts of colours and eventually the light revealed a proper frosty morning. A welcome change following a few dark wet days.
It feels like years since we had a thick frost like this. It actually kept getting colder here as the morning got underway.
I went for a scout around the garden to see what patterns it had created.
Things had warmed up by the afternoon, so we took a quick ride up the valley, while it was still catching the hazy sunshine. We went until the road dipped into the shadow and the sun was blocked by the mountains.
We stopped for a breather here. Incredible that we were skiing along the skyline of this mountain less than a week!
