Clare's Birthday! And a good excuse to start the day off with croissants, strawberries and a nice crisp glass of 'Nosecco'!
We both had busy online schedules during the day, but were able to enjoy the odd coffee break together in the 'laneways' area of The Cottage and even a quick walk into the meadow between meetings.
'Went for lunch' at the 'Southbank' area, where fresh pizza and salad was being served.
Then, later in the day, once the screens were logged off, the weather really came good for us and we went for a very short bike ride to find this lovely private swimming pool. Can't believe we've never stopped here before!
It was pretty cold in the water, but nice and warm to sit in the sun afterwards to heat back up.
Then it was a quick ride home to hot showers and an extended evening of fine foods outside at 'Sunset Boulevard, between multiple birthday calls and messages.
