Crag Attrition

Time on the rock is starting to take it's toll on our skin and clothes!

And I think, somehow, I many have broken a toe, although I have no idea how - it just hurts a lot and is swollen.

And my arms were super pumped after climbing a 6c+, so much so, that I could barley use them once I'd got back down to the ground!

Even though, we've still managed to climb a few routes over the last couple of days as well as enjoying the delights of Datça. Last night though, the weather changed to 'stormy'! It was amazing to be down by the harbour and seeing surf roll on, when previously it had been calm green clear water.

We couldn't walk the whole way along the prom as it was getting battered by huge waves!

Before the storm arrived, we were up at the cliff and the skies went really spooky...

Before the brief period of exciting storm, the Easter weekend weather had been perfect. As well as climbing a few hard routes in the 6c+ range, we had a fine day of strolling the marina and trying out interestingly exotic looking treats from the various bakers, doing a bit of shopping and as we were carrying swimming kit, got in a couple of snorkels too! All good activities from resting the arms and letting our skin heal!

Oh, and there's been a lovely full moon too!
