Across Llandudno

Starting the day by finding a four leaf clover seemed like a particularly good omen for our student crossing of Llandudno.

We set off from the Lifeboat station, near the Little Orme and traversed the beach along the promenard.

After a damp start, the clouds were clearing and the heat from the sun felt great.

From the pier, we took the path uphill towards the ski slope to an area known as the Happy Valley, which has a fine grassy area for picnicing.

And palm trees!

And an Laburnum Arch in bloom as well. All very nice...

The high level traverse path has great views of the town and the distant mountains, which we were happy to be keeping clear of, given the dark skies.

Soon enough, we had reached the western shorn line of the peninsula where the sea provided a welcome cool off for our feet.

A nice local exploration, on some new paths for me as well!
