Three Months at The Cottage

Well, it had to end sometime! No blue sky today! The rain has arrived n time to mark three months of quarantine here at The Cottage. The longest period of time by far that I've ever stayed in one place during my adult life! Even though we've had to cancel some exciting trips to Denmark, France, Italy, Switzerland and Iceland, we've certainly been making the best of things back here. Neither of us was that bothered about the rain today. The ground really needs it and it actually made a bit of a change in our routines - no al-fresco dining today! We even needed the lights on in The Cottage in the morning - the clouds were so dark! Having said that, let's hope it doesn't stick around for too long!
