Welsh Waves

Got unpacked and back into 'Cottage' mode. Stormy weather looked set across the UK, so gave us a good excuse to hang out and enjoy the creature comforts of home. The bonus of the storm also meant that a good swell was being created if only we could find a sheltered enough spot.

John and I went looking and had a brilliant afternoon zipping along waves across the little bay, while the rain poured down and the wind howled!

We also had time to explore form The Cottage around the edge of the quarries.

Our neighbour has built a natural harp using a falling tree, so we went and gave it a play.

The rivers have continued to rise. I didn't go kayaking this time, but we enjoyed a walk along to Ogwen Bank to go for a drink in a new bar there and ended up staying for a Sunday roast!
