Chamonix - Final Farewells

As promised, the rain poured down in the valley, but we were fine with that. Our final full day, was spent doing some of the things that we'd been meaning to do for the last month - namely, strolling the streets, having coffee at 'Moody's Coffee Bar' and generally watching the world go by.

And of course, there was the small matter of packing up all our climbing kit and belongings ready to leave the apartment in the morning - and then carrying it all down to the underground car park and loading up.

We still made time for some final postcard writing at the 'French' cafe in town, before a final browse of the shops and then dinner with Stu, Rachel and Dave in Les Houches. I think between us, we've managed to do most of the things that we wanted to do here - and in any case, it's always good to have something to come back for! A fine finish indeed...
