Cascades and Climbs - An Alpine Rest Day of Sorts

Did a few routes at Les Gaillands in the morning as rain was forecast to arrived by midday. We had a few spots, but nothing major materialised.

However, I soon discovered that my body was way too tired to be hauling itself up steep, busy cliffs, so we beat a retreat to a nearby bakery and sat outside, feeling somewhat destroyed, having a final munch before saying our farewells to Barney.

The food helped enough to inspire a short hike from the house up to a nearby waterfall cascade and we enjoyed a chilled wander up the trail.

Amazing to be able to hike here in just over half an hour from our house!

More food and early to bed was required, 'Alpine Rest Day' style...
