I've been back in the Welsh mountains today. I was running a course called Mountain Skills for a group of students around Cwm Idwal and Idwal Slabs in the Ogwen Valley.
The tops had a dusting of snow on them, but we stayed at lower altitudes to avoid it, and so we could climb on (mostly) dry rock. We climbed the Seniors Gully approach climb (to the left of Idwal Slabs) and taught some basic movement and ropework skills along the way.
We descended back into the valley just before the rain arrived!
