Did our best to seek out a sheltered bay where we could catch some waves, but today it wasn't to be.
Instead, we embraced the gales and went for a 'blustery' beach walk along the deserted sands of Aberfraw. The sand blew around our feet in a mesmerising way.
The sun fought hard to break out, but in the end, we retreated back to the van soaked by the rain. Luckily we were prepared for such eventualities and brewed up hot drinks inside while we dried off. A miniature holiday.
