Admin, un-packing, sorting, cleaning, planning have all been part of today. With an Alpine trip looming, and high pressure maintaining the settled weather, we left The Cottage just before lunch for a bit of leg stretching!
Our 'local peak' of Carnedd y Filiast was perfect for a quick hit. It's all gentle walking and within an hour, you can be high up in the mountains enjoying a Sunday picnic on the summit. The views encompass pretty much the whole of Snowdonia and Anglesey. Didn't see another soul....
Were back, basking in the sunshine in The Cottage garden just over an hour later for our first 'alfresco' coffee session of the year! Happy days!
