Stayed close to home today but still managed to climb one of the longest continuous rock routes in Wales. It was a steep walk up to the base of the slabs, but we were in no rush with the weather being settled and fine. Got to put harnesses on after about 90 minutes of hard graft and a brief sunny picnic.
The view up is quite foreshortened and didn't look as long as it should, but it just kept coming...
Saw some good crystals along the way...
And climbed on super grippy slabs the whole way.
The angle is easy enough, but it still was high enough to be glad of the rope!
All around us were great views. Seven 50m pitches and a belay lunch stop later, we arrived at the top.
Back on flat ground, we felt pretty tired...
From the top, we made a circular walk down the ill-frequented ridge opposite, to get some super face on views of where we'd just been.
