Life at Land's End, Cornwall

Just because we were camping in an empty field on a cliff top, didn't mean that we couldn't have fancy pancakes for breakfast!

Sea mist and drizzle put a stop to any climbing plans, so we checked out the Minack Theatre instead. An absolutely magical place! We didn't watch a show, but enjoyed looking around the grounds and immaculate gardens.

The beach of Porthcurno enticed us down for a swim, despite the cloud cover.

It was cold! But the group stayed in for ages - I was pretty much hypothermic by the time they got out!

Next stop was Land's End for a genuine Cornish Pasty. Delicious....

After eating, we scoped out our climbing options, which annoyingly, kept getting soaked by passing showers.

One minute it was glorious, the next it was raining.

In the end, the group opted to hike the coastal path back to Sennen, where Leo met us with the bus.

Things brightened up in the evening back at camp. Kite flying was a popular option and the camp cooking went down well too.
