There was an absolutely hypnotic and uplifting display of colour in the sky this morning. I was driving through the main event but pulled over as the main thrust was dimming to take a photo.
It was certainly a shepherds warning as a wild day soon followed. Worth it though for such an inspiring start to the day.
Good colours continued through the day with a superb double rainbow.
Then after a frantic day of teaching camp cooking skills and a three course lunch, I returned to the woods with some students to see what colours we could find in the last of the light.
There was a good palet once you looked properly....
