On the edge of the weather

Just out of the mountains the weather was scorching! T-Shirts and suncream, while inland the hailstones kept falling. Conwy slab provided good shelter, good climbing and a grand day out with some students.

Later in the evening, the slopes of Carnedd y Filiast remained in the sunshine, so we took a walk up for the sunset views.

Behind us, the summits were still in the clouds, but in front, we had good views and some warmth from the sun.

By the time we were down, the mountains finally cleared up. Felt good to have been in the right places at the right times today.
