Anglesey Coastal Path - Rhoscolyn

With fresh snow on the mountain tops, strong winds, dark clouds and frequent showers, we drove out of the mountains in search of better things!

And found them at Rhoscolyn! We've been climbing here plenty of times, just north of the bay, but never walked the coastal path to the south. Today seemed a good day for it.

We passed loads of little zawns along the way. There are all kinds of flowers coming into bloom, but none as striking as the gorse!

One little beach was covered entirely with shells...

Despite the wind, we (eventually after a couple of aborted attempts), found a place for my first dip of the year!

It was a short lived affair! But gave us both a good buzz, which we celebrated by visiting the pub garden on the way home (another first for me!).
