Our 8th Wedding Anniversary today! After a leisurely start, we went over to nearby Brecon for some more floating about on boards.
The Little Donkey Cottage has served us well with week, with good access to a range of adventures.
After finding out that the River Usk was not open for canoeists after 2nd March, until sometime in October, we took to the canal at Brecon for a short journey.
It's a slow pace on the canal and can be linked with the River Usk for a round trip when access allows as it's so close to the river.
There wasn't much to keep us in Brecon after the paddle, so returned to base for a brew, a rest and a last walk around the village. The Magnolia has come into bloom since we've been here! After selecting a few bits to eat at the local shop, we had a celebratory late dinner back at the house.
