Decided to try and leave the snow and ice behind today to see if we could get into the warmth of the sunshine. There was a pretty clear cut divide on the forecast. Cloudy in the mountains, sunny at the coast. We rode north...
There was still a chilly wind blowing down the Menai Straits, but if you tucked away out of it, there were some real suntraps.
A stark contrast to being on the mountain tops yesterday.
Behind the town, some of the mountains cleared into view. They always seem to look bigger when they have a covering of snow.
It was great to feel the sun, but also get a different view.
Saw this and thought of Uncle Ken and the restoration of HMS Victory!...
