Ed and I had a great time last night that involved a bit of time traveling back to the music scene of somewhere around 1996. Shed Seven's national tour somehow found themselves in the theatre in Llandudno - one of the lesser-known/frequented rock and roll venues of the live music circuit. The singer was a great entertainer and joked with the crowd between songs. I particularly enjoyed the part when he said that he'd not been to Llandudno before, so had googled to see what was on tonight. "Apparently it's just us or a karaoke night in the Carlton Hotel, so thanks for choosing us". Then after a pause, continued, "but that's on until midnight, so we can get warmed up here then all head over!"
Brilliant music, great players and surprisingly I knew most of the word to most of the songs. Strange how the brain remembers certain things. Great fun to watch, listen and relive some old memories...
