Misty Moelfre

I had to assure the team today, that there are in fact some fantastic views from the cliff top coastal path around Moelfre on the east coast of Anglesey. Even with the low mist, the water still looked tropically green and somewhat inviting.

Although it would have been a lot more inviting if it had not been hosing down with rain all day! Rab 'Valliance' waterproof down jacket was the hero of the day today. And, yes, it was completely waterproof and kept me warm all day! Very happy about that. It was grim out there!

For a while, there was little to distinguish where the sea finished and the sky started. Such is the life of the Outdoor Educator! Despite the manky weather, we actually had a fun day out. Like most things, the hardest part is setting out; once we had got going, the time flew by.
