Camping and Climbing

'Fool's Gold' - One of my favourite climbs in the Llanberis Slate Quarry.

After some heavy showers during the day on Sunday, things had dried up again in the evening and we even got some sunshine to climb in!

This was all on the back of another two-day Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Award Expedition. This weekend, I've been shadowing the group along the beautiful North Wales Path, which traverses the mountainside above the Menai Straits.

And then drops down to the Ogwen River, where we camped on Saturday night. Between the showers. The route finished at Pete's Eats in Llanberis with big mugs of tea and chip butties - a great weekend!
