On a bit of a spur of the moment kind of thing, I took myself off to Wrexham for the evening where I'd found out that one of my favorite bands were playing a gig. Although the sound quality is usually not as good in small clubs, it does mean that you get an intimate gig and are up close to the action! The venue in Wrexham was pretty tiny with only a couple of hundred people (compared to their recent gigs at places like Wembley Stadium!). In fact, it was so small that the band would high five people in the crowd during songs! It was a great gig and cool to see the band were clearly having a great time too and enjoying playing their songs. Well worth a bit of a drive!
