A crazy busy day at The Cottage, with the expedition research machines working at maximum capacity! There are some super exciting plans formulating for us this year. So far today, having spent much of it at the computer, I've been involved with planning, train journeys, hire cars, buses, flights, campervans, insurance policies, ski huts, climbing venues, ice axe hire and luxury city centre apartments!
The day has flown by in a blaze of internet searches and emails. Suddenly it was mid-afternoon, so we decided to nip out and get some exercise. The Beacon Climbing Wall was the place to head for and being late on a Monday afternoon, we had the pick of the routes! We worked our way across the lead wall and later attempted some bouldering, but were way too pumped out to hang on by then!
With heavy forearms, but excited about our plans, we headed home for coffee and pancakes, before finishing off a few more bookings. Exciting times ahead!
