Went over to Penmaenbach Quarry in search of some newly bolted routes today. Over on the far side of the main climbing level are a bunch of new low grade routes, which made for a nice day of rock climbing instruction. The day started of beautifully, but warning signs in the form of rapidly forming high cirrus clouds, heralded the arrival of a change in conditions...

Despite being mostly north facing, the air temperature was very mild for the time of year and it was, as always good to be doing climbs I've never done.

We stayed dry on the climbs, but by evening the gales had arrived along with a deluge!
