Blustery day today, so not ideal open canoeing conditions! Managed to find some shelter in the lagoons of Llyn Padarn near Llanberis, where the sheltered waters were rapidly filling up with falling leaves! The skies have been super dark all day, but the rain held off until late afternoon. The wind made the main lake really rough, but it's been a good day teaching some canoe skills and having a bit of fun in the sheltered spots...
Autumn colours really coming into effect now though. With gales on their way this weekend, there are going to be plenty more leaves on the ground - and in the water!
