Orienteering Introductions

Woke up today to find that there had been a snowfall in the night! The tops of the Carneddau and Snowdon range were all covered with a good dusting, which made for an impressive sunrise (despite my pictures looking a but murky!

Winter arrives in the Carneddau
I've been working today at Glyn Llifon Country Park, running an introduction to Orienteering and navigation course. There is a splendid house there, with some equally impressive gardens that have a range of amazing trees including some sizeable Giant Redwoods! It was a great place to spend an autumnal day (between the showers) and there is a great Orienteering course that is perfect for beginners.

Not a bad garden either
