Kayak rolling in the 'warmth' of an indoor swimming pool today. I've been at the indoor kayak pool today at Plas y Brenin teaching kayaking skills. It was a bit of a mixed group, with some students just happy to practice a bit of paddling and learning how to get in and out of the boats; others were looking for more advanced skills. Very rewarding to see two of the students do their first ever kayak roll - both coming up with a certain look of surprise on their faces! The 'warmth' of the pool didn't last long and I was pretty cold by the time we'd finished!
Ended the day with a few laps of the bouldering wall to keep our fingers strong!
