Kayak, Surf & Climb - maxing out in N.Wales

Made the most of living in North Wales today! The night life might not be much to shout about and cinema is something of a fabled myth, but it is possible to paddle a classic white water river, surf a wave and then go climbing - and be home in time for dinner!

We started off with an apres breakfast run down the Ogwen, through the Bethesda section. A fine way to splash the sleep from my eyes! It's only 5 minites away from The Cottage, so after a leisurely run, we returned for an early scrambled eggs and toast session.

Re-packed the van, and by mid afternoon, we caught a few good waves on Anglesey. I was wearing my only wetsuit, (as the other is getting repaired) and the difference in warmth was very noticeable!!
Back at The Cottage for afternoon tea, then back out to Indy Climbing Wall for some routes.
All this activity, some socialising and being able to be fireside by the evening with some home cooked grub. Bliss...

Afternoon lines...
