A Jubilee Jaunt

After a splendid party at Poppy's, we snuck out of Wales early to avoid any traffic. Overcast skies and an open road took us to Loddington, with Clare driving, while I slept the party off...

As past of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, the village was full of bunting, flags and the rec was hosting a classic car show.

Plenty to see, but I didn't get a test drive with Bob this time!

Good times with the folks at Fort Martin enjoying a bit of garden time too, which is maintaining it's usual high standards!

Also got roped into some hedge cutting, which involved some unorthodox techniques with me being egged on ever further into the depths of a bottomless hedge, much to Dad's amusement.

A lovely visit and nice to see the Queen too. (on TV, not at The Fort).
