Not ideal May conditions to be cycling and exploring mountain gorges in! All weather has arrived at once!
Even at The Cottage we had few mornings of frost and hail storms.
On the bike road to Llandudno in the morning, to my surprise, the road was white with snow and hail!
And great patches of snow accumulated after isolated downpours.
Thankfully, between these showers, the sun has shone.
Two days of instructing, teaching, observing and training in the Gorge have been great fun and provided a good reminder of how to 'get stuck in' even when the weather says otherwise! I've been cold, hot, soaked and dry, but it's been nice to be back out with groups in this environment.
The evenings have given some great light - but not enough time to get up into the late season snow on the tops.
