Local travel restrictions meant that I had to take my canoe group to a slightly different venue to where I'd planned, but thankfully the weather played ball and we were able to do a good circumnavigation of one of the higher lakes, as well as some skills training.
As it is more exposed to the wind, I was worried that it would be too difficult to paddle across if the wind got up, but as it turned out, the wind completely dropped for the day. Lucky eh....
On the drive back home, I stopped at the beach to take in the sunset. The colours were terrific and after a pretty full-on day with the students on the lake, it was nice to enjoy a bit of tranquility, sat on the sea wall.
