Getting in the Groove

There's been a strange feel to this week, as we try and get back into some sort of routine. Everything is different as there are more and more policies in place as to what and how to do things each day. Thankfully, some things have remained the same; we nipped up the valley on Wednesday evening to say hi to Tryfan and the surrounding peaks. The start of a new term, apart from all the usual things, has also involved having to speak so much, hold multiple bits of information and juggle all kinds of tasks among so many people! I'm out of practice!

Just as it was feeling a bit overwhelming, Jenny saved the day with the delivery of a Cream Tea from Looe in Cornwall! Nicely coincided with the anniversary of our engagement! Thank you Jenny!

As well as getting back on the rock faces, I've also (literally) been getting to grips with things on the indoor climbing wall. My fingers creaked a bit and I'm lacking in strength, but it felt good to be back. Just need some muscles!

Also got a trip up on the very windy summit of the Grear Orme on Friday, to check out the views and remember what a remarkable place we live in here.

It's like I'm up and running, but somewhat out of practice with how the world works! It's a sensory overload outside of quarantine....
