Hoorah! We're allowed out into the big wide world again. Nicely timed with a one-day heatwave, where temperatures suddenly reached 25 degrees. The last two weeks really have blurred into a 'period of time', and it's hard to remember exactly what happened when, or what we even did each day. But the days have actually been pretty packed and we've made the most of the enforced house arrest that is quarantine. It was also the first day in a very long time that I had to get up, look smart and go somewhere! With a freshly shaved face and new haircut, I reacquainted with the climbing stores, before meeting Clare at the coast to make sure I could still remember how to put my climbing harness on.

Back on the Rocks
It felt lovely to be flaking out a rope again and seeing a different view. All helped by the fact that we had the place to ourselves and it felt as hot as France.
Given the excursions of the morning, we only did a few climbs. We spent the rest of the time, just sitting in the sun admiring the views! (or maybe I just lost my strength when I got my hair cut?).
I've definatly got a bit of acclimatization to do as I felt exhausted by 4pm!
As it was just us, we could take our time and go at our own pace. On the way home, the weather changed. We stopped briefly at the beach, but the wind had picked up and the sky were filling with clouds. We'd been in the perfect sheltered sun trap!
