After a bit more honing of Clare's Diablo skills, we worked out a route that would get us to the sea, while keeping us out of contact with others. Using a series of less travelled back roads (including a fod crossing!), we snaked our way downhill towards the coast.
In the distance, we could see Puffin Island (on the left) and the Great Orme of Llandudno (on the right). The hedgerows and verges are bursting into colour with all sorts of wildflowers at the moment. On the way back up to The Cottage, we stopped to watch another big Buzzard, only a few metres away from us, in the field next to the road, which was pretty cool. Other than a couple of dog walkers a joggers, we saw no one again.
