Cottage to Capel Ride

There's been a flurry of activity overnight in the garden. I'd usually say that I'm pretty good at paying attention to this sort of this, but these days, we've got enough time to really get our eye in. Nothing is going unnoticed. My adopted Primrose, 'Geffory' has finally burst into flower after ten days of detailed observation.

Hannah the Montanna, is making another comeback, from the brink of extinction!

And down by the steps, the first Bluebell is starting to show its true colours.

And although this sycamore was making a good start to the year, he's had to be removed from the guttering and replanted in the hedge!

We upped the milage a bit today and went out for a ride on the bikes to Llyn Mymbwr near Capel Curig.

It was pretty much windless and deserted. It was 35km there and back, with a good amount of uphill that gave our legs what they'd been craving as well as some gratifying long downhills, where we could sit and watch the landscape roll by.

In the evening we 'went out for a night at the Theatre'. After a delightful meal at The Cottage Pizzeria, we 'went out', by walking over to Clare's Office, where we had a performance of 'One Man & Two Guvnors' set up on the big screen and speakers. It was filmed at the National Theatre and very much recommended! We even took a walk around the garden, lit by the light of the 'supermoon' on the 'way home'! Good fun!
