Bank Holiday Social Surfing

Managed to have a proper mini-holiday this bank holiday! The sun was (sort of) out, there were (sort of) waves at the beach, and loads of friends to enjoy the day with. Starting at The Cottage, we met up with various friends during the day - some of whom we hadn't seen for ages. We almost overstretched ourselves by trying to see everyone, but in the end, when mobile communications failed us, we just got in for a surf. As luck would have it, we found Luke already out surfing and compared to my last surf I felt (relatively) warm.

After some surprisingly good waves, we got ourselves established on the leather sofas in the warmth of the Oyster Catcher for a good natter over some Cuppachino, chips and chocolate cake to finish the day off!
