Were welcomed into Corsica by Des & Suzi following a pleasant six hour ferry stint. After an entertaining night in Bastia, we dropped them at the airport and headed straight to the beach! Temperatures just shy of thirty degrees and the water warm and turquoise. We dived straight in! Saw some amazing shoals of fish and swam and dived with them.
After a leisurely lunch, the skies blackened and heavy drops of rain began to fall! Nothing really came of it, but we moved from the beach and walked up to an old fort above the coast, where we found a very cool bar serving chilled wine under a shady olive tree.
Soaked up the views, drank coffee & wine; all in a fine holiday style..
Currently camped up about 25m from the waters edge enjoying other great sunset...
