An incredible change in the weather has seen the mountains covered in snow overnight and valley temperatures only just above freezing - a far cry from the 18 degrees of 12 hours ago! Climbing this week has been in the indoor walls.
On Wednesday night, there was a full on blizzard at The Cottage!
Then Thursday started with a biting minus ten wind chill - see the snow on the mountains in the distance!
Another day to retreat indoors with the students!
In the evenings this week, I've been dismantling a climbing wall! It's amazing how many holds there are in a wall - and bolts! It's been a tough job!
But, with a lot of help from John, we managed to get it all packed up just before the deadline, which meant that Clare and I got away in time to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary! Time flies!...
