Winter Sun at Newbrough Beach

With frost in the shade and t-shirt weather in the direct sunlight, it was important to be in the right place today! Conditions for our planned activities at Newbrough Beach couldn't have been better. Not a breath of wind or cloud in the sky.

I was laying a 'hash trail' through the woods, that was to be followed by some students.

While this was going on, John was busy cooking pizzas on his outdoor pizza oven, so that we could enjoy an extended social lunch. All that was needed after that was a free reign of the vast expanse of beach that a super low tide had provided. What a day to be running free! What views of distant mountains! It certainly helped our theme of the day, which was 'awe and wonder' in the outdoors!
