Northern Bound!

Snow at The Cottage! First time in a couple of years! Woo-hoo! Typical that it’s the day I’ve got a big drive ahead of me!

Starting a day with snowflakes falling, followed by a Christmas Carol service it all felt rather festive!

We left the service in high spirits, dived in the bus and got instantly into some gridlock snow stuck traffic! The first 15 miles took over an hour!

The A55 was closed, so we had to divert through Rhyl, but eventually we got north and across the boarder with the temperatures dropping all the time.

Thankfully, the Scottish know how to keep the   roads clear better than the Welsh, so we crossed Rannoch Moor carefully but without incident. We’re now in residence in Fort William. It’s good to be here!
