Local Views...

It's been a productive and relaxing few days at The Cottage. It's been the perfect place to hang out and we've had plenty of things to be getting on with without really having to wander too far from the garden. Sunday morning was particularly pleasant and after a garden breakfast, we took a classic Sunday stroll around our local mountain, where the Heather is in full bloom.

It might be high season for holiday makers, but we didn't see another person as we chatted over plans.

As well as lots of Cottage planning and work stuff, we've also been busy preparing for our next adventure. It's always super exciting having a new trip on the horizon, but this one is even more so as it is going to be new for us both.

We've got our kit trimmed down to 'minimalist' levels as we need to be as lightweight as possible for the next two weeks of travel and adventure...
