Cottage Life

Although we've lived in North Wales now for over ten years, we've never actually spent a summer here, or even just a few weeks. But for the first time, we have popped back between trips to sort kit, wash clothes, rest up and get organised. Luckily, The Cottage is the perfect place for a relaxing while completing all the above tasks! We arrived back late at night after some great times with all the team at Fort Martin and the next day enjoyed being greeted by the Welsh summer sunshine.

Apparently, Snowdonia is busy at this time of year, so we have so far stayed put and only ventured out a few times to stretch our legs and see the views from the track.

It's worked out really well so far and we're both starting to feel ready for the next adventure. Each summer, our travels are generally between 7 and 8 weeks. We were looking back at the photobooks of our previous summer expeditions and there have been some real good ones over the years!
