Feel like I made the most of an enforced weekend stay at The Cottage. There's been lots of computer based work/planning going on and having just received our new climbing guidebook, a good excuse to give the fireside some appreciation. The 'four seasons in one day' theme continued throughout the bank holiday.
The Monday started with torrential rain, but by lunch time, the sun was shining. Wanting to have a bit of 'outside time' I got a book, made a brew and hobbled out into the fresh air of The Cottage garden. By the time I'd got sat down and put my foot up, it was hailing hard! A few minutes later and the lawn was white!
