Climbing at The Boardroom

The torrential rain in north Wales continues, but this time with gales too! Driving along the coast road this morning, the wind was whipping spray off the surface of the sea, up into mini 'twisters'. Amazing to watch! If I could have pulled over, I'd have taken a photo!

Given such conditions, we spent a great day at 'The Boardroom' climbing wall. It's a really varied place, with lead walls, bouldering, top ropes and plenty of training areas. This area below, is a particularly savage zone! The 'Wall of Pain' as my group called it! My fingers certainly got a work out here!

Then later, back at The Cottage, (where a further 45mm of rain has fallen today!), we got to flick through our latest book, which arrived yesterday. It's great to look back through photos, and these ones from the Dolomites, brought back some great memories from our epic adventures this summer!
