We had a day out in our village today where an 'Outdoor Festival' is being held. We started off with a stroll around our new neighbourhood, checking out the shops and tourist office, before returning for coffee on the balcony, then heading down to the main festival.
There were loads of stands and displays of outdoor gear.
And the chance to try out the local climbing wall.
And a quick go in the 'fitness park'.
Even the statues are into climbing around here!
I got to try out some techno trousers that have a built in harness to save having to carry a separate one!
Then we checked out the local stables.
And of course the skateboarding competition!
All this was going on just a few minutes walk from our apartment allowing us to nip home for lunch as well as fitting in a few jobs on the computer! Brilliant!
