Paradise Honeymoon

Well we did have two celebrations when we got married, so why not have two honeymoons as well! Having spent our first honeymoon skiing, we'd always wondered what it would be like to have taken a honeymoon on a tropical desert island; so what better place to find out than here in Fiji. Away from the main island of Fiji are various small chains of tiny islands; many are uninhabited and others are home to small villages or rather nice hotel resorts. We took a boat out to stay at two different islands over the course of a week, one of which was very aptly named 'Paradise Cove'. To sum up our time on the islands, there were plenty of deserted beaches...

Some stunning sunsets...

Crystal clear warm water for swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. Extrodinarily coloured reefs to snorkel over; home to all kinds of fish and even an octopus!

A few afternoon tropical storms...

The odd place to shade from the sun...

And plenty of Palm trees...

It really was the lap of luxury, with fine foods on tap, the odd cocktail and the most remarkable accommodation we've ever stayed in! We finished off by catching a tiny sea plane from the beach, back to the mainland!

Days to remember!....
