Even though the 'big storm' passed just south of us here at The Cottage, it's still been a few days to focus on indoor lessons of theory and planning. Despite all the build-up, with schools and shops closed, at the last minute, the storm tracked slightly south and it's been a fairly typical, wet and blustery couple of days. I'm currently planning a number of expeditions, now that restrictions are easing. It's always an exciting browse through the Cottage Library...
I've taught some climbing lessons this week, but only indoors again! Good for practice...
We've had plenty of hail and heavy showers and I was happy not to be leading any mountain walks!
In the evening, it cleared up and the wind dropped again. There is a dusting of snow up high, but not enough for any winter climbing adventures.
Just as well, as tomorrow (test permitting), we're aiming for somewhere warmer....
