After just over twenty-four hours at The Cottage, we were unpacked, repacked and off again. This time heading south to visit family and friends in the southwest. Fine company, excellent foods and good times catching up on recent events. Even managed to squeeze in a short hike up a new summit for me on Lydeard Hill in the Quantocks Hills.
It was a pretty overcast day, but we could just make out South Wales in the distance.
As well as family, we also met with an old friend as well as a new one. A really new one in fact!
It was a long drive back, but it was nice driving back into Wales as the sun was setting.
