Although on land it felt a bit nippy for such antics, once we were in the water, it was still plenty warm enough for a bit of coasteering (due in part to the very expensive wetsuit I was wearing!). There's a great cave that you can swim into, that goes a long way back into the cliffs. There was hardly any swell, but the small waves were making a spooky booming sound (a bit like a blow hole) which was pretty exciting.
A big seal popped up to say hi at one point and on the swim back to the boulders, we had to dodge a big jelly fish that was about half a meter across! Yuck! Luckily one of the students spotted it early, so we could dodge without panic!

We went down to Bangor pier again to catch the last of the light. After the heavy rain of the last few days, the air clarity was superb, and the sunset on the clouds was magic. It was low tide when we got there, so had a good excuse not to catch any fish!..
